David’s guidance and support throughout my college application process was pivotal in helping me achieve my dream of attending college in the US. As an international student from Venezuela, the college application process in the US was unknown and seemed extremely daunting - especially when it came to securing financial aid in a school that did not offer need-blind admissions for non-US citizens. David’s expertise and dedication made a significant difference from start to end.

He helped me craft my application and essay by ensuring it showcased my personal traits and academic accomplishments. He curated a list of colleges that aligned perfectly with my interests, academic profile and personality. David also went above and beyond by not only getting me an interview with Middlebury’s college admission (something that the school didn’t offer), but also by driving me from Massachusetts to Vermont to attend the interview.

He kept my family in Venezuela informed throughout the process, which made them feel confident and involved. Thanks to all of his efforts, I was accepted Early Decision to my top school with the financial aid I needed - aid that was rare for international students to receive in a small liberal arts school.

I graduated from Middlebury in 2019 with a degree in Computer Science and minors in Math and Italian. Now, as a Senior Data Scientist at Square, I can confidently say that my path would not have been the same without David’s exceptional support. His ability to understand my unique background and aspirations, along with his positive attitude and genuine desire to help, made me feel capable and confident in applying to my dream school.
